We want to give a huge thanks to John A. for mounting and installing the
tank and sprayer on the grader tractor. There will be some tweaking needed
but this will be a great upgrade for dust control!!! THANKS JOHN!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The weather was beautiful and there was a very good turn out for Test & Tune April 17th. We pulled outdoors and track conditions couldn't have been any better. I didn't get a count on the number of tractors inspected but it had to be close to 30, maybe more! There was a nice spectator turn out and the Club put on a show pulling two rounds plus. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Everyone is looking forward to getting the pulling season started May 12 in Bonham with our first points pull. The pull is being sponsored by Bonham Service Center and SLH Builders. This is a great location for the LSGTPA to pull for three reasons. #1 If the weather is nice we can have the pull outdoors and #2 if it rains we pull in an indoor arena. #3 Both the indoor and outdoor tracks offer good pulling surfaces. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our pulling family recently lost Charles Lewis. Charles worked the line up and scales at our pulls and will be sorely missed.
